Hans Sparkes
Strategic Director
Hans Sparkes has 25+ years B2B marketing and business experience in the Technology sector, operating at country, European and corporate levels. His highest position being Marketing Director for Open Solutions Business, and Marketing Director for Global Field Enablement – both at corporate level.
Hans is adept at linking business with technology – ensuring technology both underpins the business and drives business agility and innovation. He has also helped sales teams to develop a more consultative approach to identifying and winning business.
He has three (work) passions:
• Client Centric viewpoint. Ensure we understand the needs and aspirations of the end client in order to help them along their journey; translate these into features & services; and so create appropriate value propositions and product/service packages.
• Joined up business. Strive to ensure that all the elements of the approach (marketing, product/service, sales and partners) cross-link and build together towards a common goal.
• Blend the Strategy with tactical implementation. See the ‘Big Picture’ first, then develop the appropriate local strategy through a sound understanding of local client needs. Only then get stuck into the details within this context to create the tactical execution, and deliver core messages with passion and conviction.
Hans is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, and holds an MBA from Henley The Management College.
